Mothers Day 2009

What a fun-filled weekend down in Utah! Between the boys working in Frank & Kayla's yard, the girls shopping, and hanging out with the kids, we all had a great time! Plus, my brother Daniel was able to travel up from Provo to spend the night with us! I'm so glad he lives closer now! Then on Mother's Day, after Rusty's Blessing we all headed up to Carol's home and had a BBQ, followed by the Peterson's Baseball Game. And of course the kids all had a great time on the playground!

A gift for Heather

Annie, Maggie, and Jack made a valiant effort to be patient while I took a picture of them for a gift I made for Heather! Bless there little souls!

Jordon & I were able to hang out with my my sister Mary, her husband Corban, their children Carson & Emily, and my Brother Daniel! I hadn't seen them forever, and this was the first time I was able to see Emily! She is so darling! I love her long hair and dark eyes! She looks just like Mary! I am so glad we were able to get together!

As most of you know I am a Electronic Monopoly Addict! The old Monopoly was fun don't get me wrong; But whoever thought of the new version was a genius! So when a girl in my Young Women's stopped by this evening to hang out I jumped at the opportunity to play Monopoly! So Kelly, I just wanted to give you fair warning that I've been practicing and that there will be NO MERCY the next time we battle! And I apologize to anyone who has to witness me playing...It brings out the competitive side of me (and believe me, that's rare!)I just love it! I even lose most of the time but that's not a concern of mine! (Because I actually lost tonight)It's just a great board game; what can I say! Who knows, I might have to check myself into Monopoly Rehab...NO! Scratch that! Why give up a good thing? Well I hope you all enjoyed my raving, I'm coming off my Monopoly high. A is for...Bald?

I think this is a great story to start my new blog with! So I was in our kitchen ironing jordons clothes for tomorrow when I looked over the couch to peek at Jordon playing his Tiger Woods game...but what I found was remarkable! By mark I mean the letter A! I don't know if the picture does it justice or if you can tell at all but I swear it looks like one!
